2011-2012 Officers and Board Members
President - Joseph Seminerio, CHAE, CHTP, MBA
Joe has been a member of the HFTP (IAHA) for more than twenty years as Controller of Baltusrol Golf Club. During this time, he has served as Mid-Jersey President, Vice-President, Committee Chairperson, and also on several International committees. He has a BS Degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He volunteers his time coaching in his town and is involved with several charities, including our very own The Valerie Fund.
Vice-President - Kathie Brennan, MBA, CHAE
Kathie has been a member of HFTP for five years. During this time she has served on the HFTP Mid-Jersey Chapter Board as Secretary and Newsletter Chair. She has over thirty years of experience in Accounting, Finance and Strategic Planning. Kathie has a BS in Accounting from Alliance College, an MBA from Seton Hall University, and is a Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive (CHAE). Currently, she is the Controller of Crestmont Country Club. She is married to Chuck and they have one son, Drew who is a senior in the PGA Professional Golf Management Program at Penn State. She enjoys cooking and traveling and is a volunteer for college and local charities.
Treasurer - Paul Walstad, MBA
Paul has been a member of the HFTP for seven years. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Duke University, an MBA degree from Rutgers Graduate School of Management, and he completed all necessary courses from Rider University to qualify to sit for the CPA exam. He has worked at Arcola Country Club for six years as the Controller; prior to that he was the General Manager and Controller at Hopewell Valley Golf Club for eleven years. He has two daughters who live and work in Washington, D.C. He enjoys playing golf.
Secretary - Amy Annette
Amy is a hospitality professional with over eleven years of experience in restaurants and hotels. She received an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from The Culinary Institute of America and a BS Degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University. Amy then worked for the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa and Hamilton Park Hotel and Conference Center. Amy became a member of HFTP in 2007, shortly after her promotion to the position of Assistant Controller at Hamilton Park Hotel and Conference Center. Outside of business hours, she can be found traveling, attending fundraising events for Cancer and volunteering her time in a local animal shelter.
