Mid-Jersey Chapter

Chapter of the Year 1996-1997

Chapter Choice Award 2002

Membership Retention Award 1999 & 2003

CHAPTER OVERVIEW

The Mid-Jersey Chapter generally meets on the third Wednesday or Thursday of each month with the exceptions of February and October.  A registration period is held before the educational program is presented to allow time for meeting guest and networking with current members.

A short business meeting is conducted after the educational program, which is followed by dinner.  Education programs focus on current issues facing the hospitality industry to include accounting practices, technology, updates, human resources and legislation.  The chapter newsletter is published four times per year to keep membership well informed.  Annual meetings include charity events, summer social and a holiday dinner dance.

CHAPTER HISTORY

Years before there was a Mid-Jersey Chapter, there was once the Club Controller's Association of New Jersey (CCA).  This association joined the International Association of Hospitality Accountants (IAHA) in 1993 which became the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) in 1997.

Without the hard work and determination
of the founding members of the CCA, there would be no HFTP-Mid Jersey Chapter.
Our thanks to those members, many who have retired and other's still active today.
It is our hope that your vision when you started the CCA has come to fruition and that Mid-Jersey Chapter will continue to thrive for many years to come.
